The preempt There was pandemonium all over the place when representatives of an elected government raised a few questions on the nuances of how the city council was executing their operations on the ground. While I would not like to get into the details of this episode as it has been there in the media for quite some time, setting it aside and concentrating at the work at hand might backfire later. Why did the drama unfolded at the war room of Covid operations? The MP, accompanied by few MLAs of his ilk, fully equipped with a WhatsApp message and a camera stormed the scene. Why did it have to be done in that manner? Why could he not use his chain of command to raise these questions? Or if the excuse is that the city council is an independent body, why was the judiciary not engaged in raising these questions?
